Founded in July 2013 by Ken Ratri Iswari and Yunita Anggraeni, Geekhunter is the first IT recruitment agency in Indonesia, specializing in placing tech experts in great companies ranging from startups to multinationals. The tech talents shortage in Indonesia has been a long-standing issue, with demand for skilled professionals consistently outstripping the available pool of qualified candidates. The challenge of finding qualified tech talents can be compared to the difficulty of finding a needle in a haystack. In June 2019, we addressed this issue in an article for Forbes Indonesia titled “Tech Talent Shortage in Indonesia.” As the first of its kind in Indonesia, we have built a reputation for our expertise in finding and placing top tech experts. Our success has led to continuous growth, but we don’t stop there. We always seek new challenges and opportunities to expand. To achieve this, we extended our services in 2020 to include business and operation roles, executive roles, and new industries.
